Proposal Development & Funding Strategy
Whether you have a concept note, a draft proposal, or just an idea, we help shape it into a competitive, fundable submission. We manage the full proposal cycle — writing, packaging, and submission — and tailor every application to the standards of your target donor or funder.
Research, Compliance & Capacity Building
We help organisations build the systems, policies, and capabilities required to attract and retain funding. From compliance gap analyses to finance, HR, and procurement policies, staff training, and monitoring frameworks — we make sure your organisation is donor-ready.
Programme Design & Delivery Support
Good proposals become good programmes when the design is sound. We support logical frameworks (logframes), budgets, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) frameworks, safeguarding policies, and stakeholder engagement — so that what you promise funders is what your community actually receives.
Grant Management & Donor Reporting
Winning the grant is the beginning, not the end. We support organisations through reporting cycles, audits, and donor relationship management, helping you protect and renew the funding you have worked hard to secure.

Compliance Turnaround
A regional NGO lacked the compliance systems required by their donor. CEA conducted a gap analysis, developed finance, HR, and procurement policies, and delivered targeted staff training.
Result
Full donor compliance achieved within 6 months. $2M grant renewed. Reporting errors reduced by 40%.
Case Study 02:
Concept to Funded Project
A community-based organisation had a strong idea for a youth employment programme but only a rough concept note. CEA developed the full proposal, engaged stakeholders, and submitted to targeted funders.
Result
$500,000 secured from an international donor. A 3-year programme launched, creating 800 jobs in agriculture and ICT.

CRC Projects
CEA works with CRC Uganda on community-facing programmes including Community Kitchens & Food Banks and the CRC Housing Project, supporting coordination, intake, and delivery across participating districts.
Community Food Security
We are developing community food bank programming in Wakiso District, designed to strengthen household food security while building local volunteer and coordination capacity.

We work alongside partners including CRC and Project Africa, and maintain active networks across Uganda and the United Kingdom that connect East African organisations to international expertise.
