About Catalyst East Africa
"From Concept to Impact"
Our Mission & Vision
Mission: To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and tangible, community-led solutions, ensuring that research directly translates into improved lives, strengthened resilience, and a more equitable future.
Vision: Catalyst East Africa (CEA) merges the functions of a rigorous think tank with a dynamic development agency. We are dedicated to translating evidence-based research into scalable, accountable, and locally-driven programmes.
By focusing on proposal development, regulatory compliance, and system capacity building, we actively help local organizations access funding and achieve long-term sustainability.
Our objective is to tackle complex development challenges in East Africa by strengthening the local organizational ecosystem, ensuring transparency, and bridging the gap between international donors and local implementers.
