Food Banks & Soup Kitchens

Ensuring nutritional security for the most vulnerable communities in Uganda.

About This Project

The CRC Food Project is dedicated to establishing and supporting community dining initiatives and food banks across Uganda. By partnering with local organizations, churches, and community leaders, we aim to provide consistent, nutritious meals to families and individuals facing severe food insecurity.

This initiative is part of a broader humanitarian effort to stabilize vulnerable households, ensuring that basic nutritional needs are met so families can focus on long-term sustainability and growth.

Project Objectives

Community Dining

Establishing safe, accessible community soup kitchens where hot, nutritious meals are served regularly to vulnerable populations, including children and the elderly.

Food Banks

Creating centralized distribution hubs to supply non-perishable staples to registered families, ensuring food security during times of crisis or economic hardship.

Who Can Apply?

  • Local Organizations & Churches: Entities with the capacity and infrastructure to host and manage community dining projects.
  • Vulnerable Families: Households living in extreme poverty who require emergency food assistance.
  • Volunteers: Individuals willing to dedicate their time to food preparation, distribution, and logistics.
